The wait for Ram Gopal Verma’s much-anticipated movie ‘Phoonk’ has come to an end, with the movie finally hitting the theaters. After spending sometime with the underworld, in ‘Sarkar’ and ‘Sarkar Raj’, Ramu has come back to his favorite genre - horror. Though we didn’t get the same scares as ‘Bhoot’, ‘Phoonk’ is definitely a movie that you will enjoying watching in theaters, especially if you like horror flicks.

This time, instead of ghosts, RGV has taken black magic as the center point of his movie. Throughout the time you spend in the theater, the movie holds your attention and does not let you feel bored. In the movie, emphasis has been laid on camera effects, lightning and artifacts, in order to create the right, scary ambience. The background score only serves to add to the whole mystery and horror. One can actually feel the genius of RGV flowing from the movie.
